Custom Design Capabilities for
3-Phase Inductors

Our custom three-phase inductors are used in applications including aviation, power conditioning, renewable energy power conversion and high-power battery charging, to name a few.

Designs may incorporate foil and high-temperature windings, strip-wound amorphous metal, ferrite or high-grade steel cores. Dimensions and mountings are tailored to suit your specific need. Inductors can also be incorporated into the primary winding of a transformer to save both cost and space.

Example Types of 3 Phase Inductors & Chokes:

  • 3 Phase DC
  • 3 Phase AC
  • Military, Aviation and Aerospace
  • Zig-Zag

  • High Current / High Frequency / High Voltage

  • Litz / Copper Foil Winding

Three-Phase AC Reactor - 3KVAR @ 400Hz (Model 216037)

This AC Inductor is one of a family of parts designed for airport ground support test equipment. Used on a 400Hz, 208V line-line power system (120V line-neutral), this reactor is constructed using 10AWG rectangular magnet wire assembled on a specialty M2 electrical grade shunt steel core and non-magnetic aluminum brackets. Class H (180C) insulation system.

Why Choose 3-Phase Inductors?

3-phase inductors are essential components in modern electrical systems, providing stable current, reducing energy losses, and supporting high-power, continuous loads. Compared to single-phase inductors, three-phase designs offer greater efficiency, improved voltage stability, and enhanced power quality, making them ideal for industrial drives, power factor correction, and critical infrastructure
